CATCH A NEW JOB IN THE TRAVEL INDUSTRY!
Travel, Romance, Adventure. Who says work can't be fun! You can operate full or part time from home, at your job or add a new profit center to an existing business. The choice is yours. The world is at your doorstep ....

As a new travel agent you will be part of our esteemed group of "Travelcats" travel agents. As a member of our travel network you will have access to fantastic vacation packages and cruise deals. This allows you to offer vacation packages and cruises for less to your family, friends, co-workers, and clients, yet still make sizeable commissions for yourself.
No, anyone with reasonable intelligence can become a full or part time travel agent. We provide a thorough and easy to understand training program as a group and on an individual basis; depending on your needs.
No special licenses or permits needed - No test or exams to take ( although we recommend certain courses you could take to become qualified or receive certificates by industry related entities. Some are free, some are available for a fee) - Minimal accounting experience needed (addition - subtraction - percentages) - No inventory - *Low start up cost - Little paperwork - Exciting products - Flexible Hours - Free travel and fun in the exciting travel industry.
* You will need to purchase your own business cards, establish an 800 number for clients to reach you (we refer you to and recommend USA data net - details provided), you'll also need a computer, and fax machine [or fax receive and send capabilities on your computer]. You will be responsible for all costs related to mailing of documents / travel vouchers to the clients if you can not hand deliver them (average cost is ~$3.85 to send documents via US Postal Service Priority Mail).
You will need a place to work. Most of our agents work out of their homes to keep overhead costs down and to take advantage of the home-office tax deductions. Some people and/or their spouses have an existing business and they add an extra desk in the store and it becomes a travel agency satellite office and a new profit center.
Your computer should run Windows 98 or higher, and have a minimum of 64 MB RAM, at least a 2.1 GB disk with sufficient free space, an internet connection, and Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher.
Computer / technical skills are required; mainly e-mail capabilities [including spell check, cut n paste and other e-mail / computer skills; training provided as needed], more importantly and mostly you will just need people skills.
COMMISSIONS
The standard industry commission is usually 10%. Our preferred supplier commissions go as high as 20%. The more you sell the higher your commission could become. This is more than a travel agent normally receives and definitely more than you would be paid by most agencies with no overhead costs that other 'host' agencies charge. Our agents earn up to 70% of their own booking commissions [depending on level of expertise, volume of sales, and personal abilities] We do not have any 'hidden charges or costs' for conducting business. No 'per ticket or monthly fees'!
At the end of each month you complete a sales / commission report for all people
who have completed their travel that month and mail, fax or e-mail it to the
agency. Commission checks are issued promptly after receiving your commission
report. (see our contract for details - available upon request)
TRAVEL BENEFITS
In Addition To Commissions, Will I
Receive Travel Benefits?
Of course! You want more out of this than just money, right? Once you start making sales, you'll be listed on the International Airline Travel Agent Network reduced rate list (IATAN). You will also receive an official travel agent ID card after you have accrued the required amount of sales commissions. This makes you eligible for travel benefits from many [most] suppliers. ... deep discounts from tour operators, cruise lines, hotels and car rental companies.
Can I Work As A Travel
Agent Part-Time
And Still Keep my Present Job?
It's up to you. Many of our Travel agents have other jobs. In fact, the contacts they make in their other jobs help them build their travel businesses. Others have started with us with the aim of developing travel into a new career, others with the goal of retiring and having travel as their later years income. Our agents have many reasons for joining us, but the common thread is the desire to make extra money and travel for pennies on the dollar.
SUPPORT

Just monkey-ing around! We do take our support seriously ....
New specials and travel deals are emailed to you on a regular basis. Updated travel information; the latest deals are only an e-mail, phone call or fax away. We have trained many agents over the years and are happy to assist you when needed. Some associates have chosen to work with a special niche, while others prefer to handle a broader scope of vacations. The choice is yours!
